~* a sparKly PARIS bIrThDaY bAnNeR *~

Instead of buying birthday decorations, girls can make their own! Birthday banners are a fun and easy project for girls of all ages. This one was created using the Birthday Girl scrapbooking theme kit from Paris Hilton's Creativity Collection. All I did was cut triangles from the patterned paper, stapled them to pink paper fringe, add some chipboard letters and embellish with stickers from the kit, pink silk roses and white tulle bows.

I am going to try to design as much as I can with the Paris Hilton line until I pack up my studio indefinitely for our move, which hopefully is in the near future. In my 'designing absence,' I plan on having some very talented guest designers along with Pinky and Ally creating with this fun line.

Speaking of Paris, yesterday she tweeted that she awoken to some guy trying to break into her home. He had 2 huge knives on him. Thank God he was arrested and she is okay.

~* SoMe PaRiS HiltOn BiRtHdAy GiRl CrEaTiOnS *~

Erika actually inspired me to get creative this weekend. I made a birthday card and the birthday ~* WISH*~ wand below with the Paris Hilton Birthday Girl scrapbooking theme kit. For $14.99, these all inclusive kits are pretty cool and have everything a girl needs to create pretty projects.

For the birthday wand, I cut two 12 X 2 inch strips of paper, accordian folded them, and sealed the ends. I glittered the edges with pink german glass for some sparkle and attached stickers from the kit and a blue painted stick. The accordian pinwheels would make cute cupcake toppers. You can string a few of them together for a birthday banner. They're a great alternative to a bow for a present or even a layout embellishment. There are so many cute things you can do with them!

~* hOmE uPdAtE *~

Soooo, we have been on the market for 40 days.

Yesterday we had a realtors' open house. 32 real estate agents came and toured our home. Our real estate agent brought party trays and I prepared the beverages. It was like throwing a party (which I love doing) only we couldn't stay to enjoy it! But that's okay!

We are very optimistic one of them will bring great some buyers to us! In fact, one realtor thought he had a family that would be interested! All of the realtors said we were priced perfectly for our area. So no need to reduce our price again, we already did that once to $330,000.

We're not in a hurry to move until we get that final word on the new job in Florida. Cross your fingers, I'd much rather be scrapping than cleaning! But it will all be worth it in the end!
