to my 49ers friend Siobhan, ThAnK YoU!

No, it's not football season yet, but it's getting closer! Most of you know I am passionate about football, especially the 49ers. A lot of you are football fans and I love that! Today I want to give special thanks to a fellow 49ers faithful friend (and very talented artist) Siobhan of Adventures from the Monkey Hut, who surprised me with some beautiful gifts yesterday. Siobhan makes beautiful cards. In fact, 3 of her cards are being published in the Summer 2010 edition of Just Cards! Siobhan sent me this awesome throwback Jerry Rice jersey that I'm wearing! I ADORE it! I didn't have a Jerry jersey!! Now my wardrobe is complete!

And on top of that, she sent me these beautiful 49ers personalized straps!!!!! These are so cool! Siobhan, I don't even have the words to express my thanks to you... actually, I can't thank you enough. I wish you were closer so we could watch (and yell at) our team together!

This couldn't have come at a better time either. I was just in the ER a couple of days ago with strange abdominal spasms and a sprained back! So what a nice surprise. I know I've been MIA, and if you haven't heard from me, that's why! I'm in some serious pain, (can ya see me grimacing here!) but things could be worse! Hope ALL of you are having a great week!

In memory of my sweet friend Christina's fur baby, Baron

who's now playing with the angels at Rainbow Bridge!

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and all our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill or old are restored back to healty and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing, they miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly one begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, their legs carrying them faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together!

I embellished it with some lace, pearl accents, pink letter stickers, stick pins, pink ribbon and rhinestones so Stewie could sparKle center stage! And boys definitely can rock the pink!!! These scrapbooking kits are loaded with pretty patterned papers and sparKly accents! There are so many possibilities for super cute creations!

Julie Tucker-Wolek ~ Guest Designing for Paris Hilton Creativity!

I have loved this lady since the time I found out that she is an avid football fan! (She's a big NY Giants fan!) ~* LoVe *~ at the top of the Dallas Skyline

Last night we attended a beautiful wedding for our good friend Giovanni's brother, who we've known since we moved to Dallas almost 15 years ago. Being Italian like my hubby, Giovanni is more like a brother to John. The reception was at Reunion Tower, one of the most recognizable landmarks in Dallas. We had an incredible time. You can see I didn't go with the Anthropologie dress~ that one didn't work out! Kyle actually picked this dress for me! Okay come on up and check it out!!!

Here we are! This is the observation deck where dinner was catered by Wolfgang Puck's Five Sixty restaurant, which is at the very top of Reunion Tower. It's 50 stories high and revolves, giving a 360 degree view of Dallas. It was amazing! And the food, spectacular!

And speaking of yummy, here is my honey John, who I never show cuz he's always the one behind the camera taking pictures for me!!!!! We kind of felt like JR and Sue Ellen Ewing when they filmed having dinner up here overlooking City Hall- we're HUGE Dallas fans! :)

And here we are posing with the beautiful newlyweds, Francesco and Ginny, who make the most perfect couple!! Francesco's parents and sister are here from Italy, then in a few months, they'll go through this all over again in Italy having another wedding celebration with Francesco's family there!!! How great is that! We were so happy to be included in their special day!

I love this little critter! She's definitely not the friendliest pet in the world! At least not yet anyways. She hisses and bites at me - and that's when she isn't trying to stab me with her quills! Little stinker! But when I have chicken, she's my best friend! She finally put her spikes down and let me pet her! I discovered the trick - handle her ONLY when you have treats! All the patterned paper & letter stickers are from My Little Shoebox, the Lil' Critter line!
