...is an angel named Baron!
In memory of my sweet friend Christina's fur baby, Baron
who's now playing with the angels at Rainbow Bridge!
Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and all our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill or old are restored back to healty and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing, they miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly one begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, their legs carrying them faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together!

Until they meet again....
Lots of love to you, Christina!!!

Deb, that is the cutest layout. I am so sorry to here about her furbaby. They really are part of our family. I am going to save that little story about rainbow bridge. One of my friends just recently lost her dog he was 13 years old and they are just heartbroken so I will have to share that poem with them. Your such a sweetie:)

Awww ... that's really sweet Deb. I had a dog named Tissue when I was growing up and one of these days I'll put together a scrapbook page for her. She's one of the sweet reasons I'll be glad to go to heaven (in about 100 years!)

These are so indescribably beautiful, Deb. What a loving tribute to a beautiful pet. The Rainbow Bridge helped me feel better when we lost our kitty a few months back. Thanks for posting the sweet words here for everyone to see. Theresa

Awww, what a sweet tribute to your friends loved furbaby!! :> Such a beautiful story, so glad you've posted it. Its so hard to loose those animals that just give and give to us humans, only asking for a little food & water and some 'pets' (as my kidlets would say) from us. Love how happy & colorful your layout is....seems like a perfect way to remember a loved pet!
