~* MiXeD MeDiA MaMaS *~ Gauche Alchemy

Gauche Alchemy is having a Mixed Media Mamas challenge about what mothers mean to you! Yes, I know...I never do challenges! This is definitely a first! And it wasn't an easy one for me. I was only 3 years old in this photo with my mom. It was Christmas - a happy time. What made this challenge difficult for me is that my mom isn't in my life anymore. Here, I captured a memory from the past. But behind it, there is a message. I have to look forward and learn from past experiences, hard as some were, and use them to help me grow and be the best mom I can. My children mean the world to me- they need my love, and they will always have it no matter what. Not every day will be Christmas, but being there for them through it all - good and bad -
that is what being a mother is to me......

This by far (to me) this is the most beautiful layout you've ever made. The old time Christmas theme brings back memories. Meet me under the mistletoe.
