~* I'm Late, I'm Late... *~

...for this very important date to say Thank You!
For the first time ever, I've been able to swap talents with some amazing artists, and it has been the best experience! This gift above came from my beautiful and talented friend Theresa at Faerie Moon Creations. I admired the Alice wristlets she made for her partner Karyn (who is also amazing) in The Wonderland Swap. I wanted them sooo bad! She happened to like the Alice tussie mussie I created, so she offered to swap goodies with me. The gorgeous wristlets and Alice beaded necklace are stunning and I am thrilled! More importantly, I have a new friend and I'm so grateful for that! Thank you Theresa, I am over the moon!
Then there is my talented and adorable friend Cristina at i-candy who comes across the Alice in Wonderland White Rabbit AFTER already swapping treasures with me! So she goes and buys him, dolls him up with all kinds of pretty accents and bling, and sends him to me in a beautifully decorated package with some Easter treasures she had created! OMG!!! The White Rabbit! Are you kidding me! I think I screamed. I lOvE him! Gratitude doesn't even begin to express what I feel for these special friends. And Maggi, you started it all by hosting the The Wonderland Swap, thank you girl!
I'll be showing my precious friend Zoe's treasures too as soon as she gets mine.
I appreciate all of you soooo soooo much!
You all spoiled me and I will treasure this experience always!

~* sweet rAzZoO! *~

This is sweet Razzoo!
I've known this little guy for over 10 years. He belonged to one of my best friends, Kathleen, and sadly he recently passed away. I wanted to create a special layout of him using The Creativity Collection for an upcoming pet theme we are working on. So I found some cardstock that was golden like him. I cut out the cute flocked leopard cats on the patterned paper in the Pet's Beauty Shop scrapbooking theme kit, accented them with some rhinestone eyes, black glitter & bows and surrounded Razzoo with these feline friends! Then I added some kitty bling from one of the rhinestone sticker packs in the collection. I stapled some black lace trim to the bottom edge and added some purple ribbon and a flower.
We'll miss you Razzoo.

~* a PiNk NiNjAs CAROUSEL kIt BlOg HoP*~

Melanie, Cris and I all wanted to do a blog hop together and I couldn't wait! We wanted to choose one kit that all of us LOVED and could design with! We looked at a bunch of kits, but the one we all agreed upon unanimously was the Pink Ninjas Carousel kit! So here's what I came up with, and please hop on over to these talented girls' blogs too and see what they created! And Ninja Ally, we love you girl - thanks for the awesome kits!
My first and biggest project with this kit was this dollhouse. I want to say this was super fun and easy! It wasn't! I walked away from this thing about four times before deciding I wasn't going to let IT win! I started with the roof which was a mix of paint and patterned papers and worked my way down! After much frustration cutting out the windows, I decided NO windows were going on the sides of the house! The ribbons in the kit are gorgeous. I tied two bows in front above the windows, and one bow around the entire house. And the rolled roses in this kit are so unique, I used two- one at the chimney and one right in front!
The Teresa Collins paper included in this kit has some beautiful quotes. I cut them up and placed them around the house, and even on the backside! And I love the ballerinas - every dollhouse needs a doll, or cute ballerinas! They're in here! I did use some extra items not included in the kit such as paint, pearl garland, pearl embellies, lace, rosettes, dew drops, paper fringe and pink Hambly chandelier rub-ons.
Next up is a little Easter gift box! This was a fun, EASY project after the dollhouse experience! I just covered the box in the papers provided, added some easter grass, the heart embellies included in the kit, and the pretty wings from the kit.
The pastel rainbow ribbon that was in the kit, I used it to create a rose and added a few sparKly rhinestones. Super fast, super easy.....YaY!
Oh, this card I created for my bay area "should be 49ers but is a Seahawks" girl Karen! (cough - cough!!!) It was made using the glittery wings that are in this kit! Those were perfect for my favorite Hawks fan!!!
And many of you saw my layout with Ava in a previous post, Down the Rabbit Hole. This was also created using Carousel! The crochet flower, the rolled rose, the pink tulle, pearl swirl...need I say more! This kit is just loaded with pretty items!! Here's a closer look at Carousel:
And here is where you can purchase Pink Ninjas kits! Please make sure you stop by Mel and Cris' blogs to see their beautiful creations!!
Have a happy weekend everyone!

~*'s ZoEy!*~

Adorable Zoey belongs to my cute friend Christy who many of you know, and who is expecting her first baby any time now! She graciously let me use her fur-baby to be my model for a picture frame I created with Paris Hilton's Creativity Collection Pet's Beauty Shop scrapbooking theme kit! All I did was cover the frame with the cute patterned paper included in the kit, added some of the 3-D stickers and rhinestones, and added a few large pearl accents and ribbon trim. Lastly, I applied pink buttons around the edge with glue dots! So fun and simple, girls will loVe making these frames for their pets! OH, my Alice in Wonderland tin is featured on ScrapScene today with some other very awesome Alice creations!

~* Spirit *~

I did this layout last March when I guest designed for Scrapbooking from the Inside Out. That was my first guest DT gig, and Rachel told me she had the perfect kit for me. She was right! The kit theme was Spirit, and this remains one of my favorite layouts because these beliefs I hold close to my heart. I'm feeling under the weather today, so I'm posting this to remind myself to always keep my thoughts positive! ...and yes, it can be challenging at times! But I definitely believe your thoughts control your destiny!
Have a beautiful day everyone!

~* a PeRsOnAl peek into my WoNdErLaNd...*~

So here's why I love Alice.
My love for her goes way beyond the novel. My grandmother, probably the most special person in my life, was named Alice. She was adored by so many people. She was an angel on this earth. My middle name is Alice, named after her. And my daughter's middle name is derived from Alice as well. Sadly grandma never got to see Ava, she passed soon after Ava was born. But ironically, Alice has always been Ava's favorite "princess" and that is with no encouraging on my part, I swear! So when we see Alice, we always think of grandma and it's one way to keep her memory alive in our home! I want to thank all of you who swapped Alice treasures with me. Theresa from Faerie Moon Creations is next up on my swap list! And following her is Helene from Lotsa Scrap~ I love keeping the Alice swap alive! So a special thank you to all of you, especially Maggi at Just Add Glitter and Stir for starting this adventure!!
Here is mini shadow box using Maya Road stick pin tins! I know you guys have these lying around. These are so easy and fun to make! I adhered an image to the bottom of the tin, added stickles to the image, then adhered flowers all the way around the inner sides. For the outside of the tin, I embellished around the top edge with lace, pearl garland, sparkly trim and rhinestones, and for the lid, I glued Dew Drops all the way around and completed it with a couple of pretty flowers on top! This one is dedicated to you grandma! We love you and you are in our hearts forever...........xOxO

~* a veRy meRRy un-biRthdAy to mE! *~from maggi

It was a very merry un-birthday for me today thanks to my Wonderland Swap partner and friend, Maggi, from Just Add Glitter and Stir!
She also happened to be the hostess for this fabulous event! She totally blew me away with her unique talent and her big heart. Every beautiful gift even had it's own special embellished tag with a personalized poem! I am beyond grateful! Here's a closer peek at each of the treasures she made for me:
A gorgeous handmade, mirrored jewelry box that says "Open Me" on top and features Alice inside with the most adorable handmade paper and crochet cookie treats! Soooo cuTe! I adore this!!!!!!!
A mirrored box
Holds many a treasure
But what size you'll be
Cannot quite be measured.
A pink wooden 'D' soldier embellished in my favorite colors pink & black with Hello Kitty!!! Maggi knows me too well!
D is for Deb
That is a fact
But a pink card soldier?
Who thought of that?
The Queen of Hearts in her pretty rose garden sitting on top of a sparKly golden crown!!!! There are red roses, white roses, and partially painted roses! How clever is that?
A golden crown sits
Upon the Royal Head
For painting on her roses
They will soon all be dead.
A captured Alice in a jar with pink sparKly tulle and dangling beads! I made one for Maggi and Maggi made one for me, great minds huh!
A jar filled with moss
Pink tulle and some wire
With it's lid on tight
They're sure to stay drier.
A gorgeous wooden wall hanging with the Mad Tea Party scene!!! I love this and couldn't make something like this if I tried!!!
A mad tea party
Pours on too long
When you have a watch
That is two days wrong!
And my most heartfelt piece is this pretty Alice frame. Besides being pink and beautiful, Maggi put my beloved grandmother's name in Armenian on it, which in English is, you guessed it, Alice!
(It's also my middle name!)
A whimsical frame
Of buttons and bits
Will grace the surface
Upon which it sits.
Thank you Maggi for bringing your creative Wonderland into my life!! And thank you for hosting this swap! All of us have a common bond- our love for Alice in Wonderland, and you brought us all together!
I love my treasures and I love you!

~* EaT mE! *~ edited Sunday evening

Sorry, I just felt like saying it!
These yummies were from Ava's 5th un-Birthday party, cute huh! (I didn't make them btw!) I am working on one more Alice in Wonderland swap with my friend Zoe in Singapore, and here is a little sneaky of something I made for her...
Also, for more Alice in Wonderland fun, Theresa over at Faerie Moon Creations is having a giveaway featuring one of her handmade necklaces and pretty wristlets pictured below. Aren't these gorgeous! You have until March 19th to enter.
My family and I went to see Alice in Wonderland in IMAX 3-D today! OMG! If I wasn't an Alice in Wonderland fanatic before this movie, I am definitely certifiable now. It was unbelievably FANTASTIC! My husband and I are going to see it again in fact. Johnny Depp nailed his role- LOVE him! Hope you're having a wOnDeRfUl weekend. Go see the movie!!!!!

~* tHiS WaY to Maggi's WoNdErLaNd!*~

Creating a WoNdErLaNd package for Maggi was a WoNdErFuL experience! The best part of all was getting to know her better, and I'm so grateful for that!
So come on and follow Ava down the rabbit hole to see what I made her!
"Maggi, will you accept this rose pen?" Jake wants to know! And he's shirtless on the tag! I know you L-o-V-e that! And we all hope you'll continue your Jake recaps while he's on Dancing with the Stars!
It's a "Time for Tea" wall hanging featuring one of Maggi's favorite characters,
the Mad Hatter!
Maggi loves PiNk,
so here's Queen Alice on a pInK & sparKly ATC size canvas.
The pink ATC was lonely on it's own, so I created a set of 4 Alice in Wonderland ATC's to go along with it!
Maggi loves her bling! So I made her this jeweled Mad Hatter box. And no jeweled box is complete without a treasure inside - a handmade poker chip ring I found on etsy featuring the Caterpillar, Maggi's other favorite character!
Who needs a "captured Alice" in a jar?
Maggi does!
And my favorite project of all, and I'm sure Maggi's too......
"TooT in Wonderland!"
One last etsy treasure for my MaD girl!
I'll have my WoNdErLaNd box from Maggi to share on Monday! Until then, Don't Be Late for this Very Important Date!!!!!!
I know, I can't wait!
Happy Alice Day everyone!
