~* doWn the raBBit hoLe...*~

I've been busy creating "down the rabbit hole" some goodies for The "Wonderland" Swap. I have one last thing I'm working on for Maggi. I made this for Ava last night because "we're all mad here." Plus, she told me "Off with my head!" if she didn't get something too! Are you "curiouser and curiouser" to see what Maggi is getting? Come back "that way," NO, "this way" soon!

~* sweet!*~ Dear Lizzy & Tarina Tarantino!

I was playing around with the Dear Lizzy line again which I purchased from BlueMoon Scrapbooking. I cut the patterned paper using a template! The paper has a lacey look with hearts, so I added the heart doilie! I added some flowers to the strawberry chipboard accents as 'stems' and a few Prima red rhinestones to the cherries for some sparKle! Lastly, I used some crochet trim to tie in some green, literally!

OMG, have you seen the new Tarina Tarantino
Acid Alice line? If you love Alice in Wonderland, you probably do NOT want to click on that banner! I'm warning you now!
I think I spot my Mother's Day presents here! ;) this ring!!!!

D-Y-I-N-G at this collection!!!! And her makeup line just debuted at Sephora and it rocks too! I bought her lipstick in " Queen Alice" and it is awesome! Yes, I have "Alice" on the brain 24/7 lately cuz I am doing the Wonderland Swap and Maggi, are you ready girl??
Okay, enough enabling for the day!!!!!

~* I'm Still Being a Very 'Bad Girl'...~*

...thanks to Wendy over at Bad Girls!
She gave instructions on how to make this beautiful keepsake box in the January "'Whispered Dreams" kit. I love this! And I think Bad Girls is having a 1/2 off sale on some kits this weekend to help Haiti, so check it out!
Sometimes it is so GOOD being so BAD!
Happy Valentine's Day!!!

~* i'Ve bEeN a BaD GiRl! *~

All day yesterday, I was badddddd!
For Valentine's Day, JJ bought me (well, I bought it for myself FROM him! lol) the Bad Girls January "Whispered Dreams" kit, and OMG!
This kit is so beautiful! This album has step by step instructions from Wendy herself. I altered it a little differently, making it a Valentine's Day 2010 album! I still need to journal in it. The paints are really new to me, and I loved experimenting with them! The album is a vintage Sears catalog! Sooo cool! Lots of pretty beads in the kit which I love! I also added some beautiful etsy florals & pink doilie from Sweet Vintage 78 and lace embellies from ozmaofodds, silk florals, and vintage pieces of my own. I guess I'm back to my shabby vintage style again !!!!! At least for now anyways! I'm all over the place! That's the beauty of it - so many styles to play around with!

~* dEaR LiZZy*~

Like many of you, I fell in love with the Dear Lizzy line from American Crafts. I bought the whole line from Blue Moon Scrapbooking! It's bright & colorful, fun & whimsical! I'm just drawn to it! I'm starting to break out of my comfort zone, which would probably be shabby chic! I know we all have a style that we're comfortable with, but it's fun to change it up every now and then!
Here, I just handcut the roses out from the patterned paper to make the heart, folded the leaves upwards for dimension,
and added some Prima pearls & rhinestones!

~*MiSs AvA MaY!*~

Introducing... Miss Ava May!
Well, it's really Ava Alyssandra, but her 'Texas' name is "Ava May!"
I am enjoying making fabric roses now! Even after the dozens of glue gun burns I sustain in the process, it's still very satisfying to make my own!

I sprayed these with Maya Mist (which I happen to love WAY more than Glimmer Mist!) in Bubblegum! I added some of my grandmother's vintage baubles & beads to make them even more special!
I also misted the heart applique and butterfly.
The cute button is from My Little Bit of Whimsy!
It's Superbowl Sunday, and even though my Niners aren't playing, I am so ready for some football!

This is Myranda!
She graciously allowed me to use her beautiful photos to create some designs using Paris Hilton's The Creativity Collection! Besides being beautiful, Myranda is a straight A student in 10th grade taking college prep classes. She plays the flute, and is so good, she tried out and made it into the higher band with Juniors and Seniors! She is in student counsel, and was even nominated as a Student Ambassador to have the chance to go oversees! Plus, she is a gifted artist as well! She made this pretty mixed media piece!
Thank you Myranda, and congratulations on all your accomplishments!
